Would we know where to start?

o What assumptions would we have to make if we started  to create life on a new planet?
o Assuming we were to populate new worlds, could our  present intelligence and evolution create life?
o How will we provide energy for life?
o How would we gather and process materials for  creating life?
o How would we process fuel to sustain life?
